The bridge over I-484/Whitehead highway has some kind of fixtures. I think they’re smaller than this, though. The thing in the photo looks massive. Like, how can I have missed it? Why has no one seen it before?
Is this, then, on that part of Columbus Boulevard that goes over the highway?
I can’t believe I didn’t see this before!! I totally know what it is. It’s the new-ish sculpture on the Riverfront Plaza, right outside the Science Center plaza.
Is anyone keeping track of who is the leading winner? I think we may now have a tie between Jane and Damian.
Yes! The photo was taken at an angle that one would usually not view this sculpture from. And it totally looks like a light fixture or maybe one of those tracks to race marbles on inside of the Science Center.
Damian
This has a Learning Corridor/Children’s Medical Center vibe. It’s designed to make you look up towards a bright future.
Am I close?
Kerri Provost
Ha! I don’t know what it is designed to do, but it’s not at the Learning Corridor. It does have that vibe though.
Karen
CT science Center? No clue what it would be though.
Kerri Provost
It is not in the CT Science Center.
Frank Lord
It is easier to sit here and guess than to walk over to the Convention Center to confirm. On the Columbus Boulevard side of the CT Convention Center?
Kerri Provost
Nope, but you and Karen are in the general area of this item.
Brendan
A broken light fixture on constitution plaza?
Kerri Provost
No. That’d be a cool light fixture.

Those were actually the ones I was thinking of, but I couldn’t remember where they were exactly.
Kerri Provost
No…as for massive, I guess that’s a matter of perspective.

Congrats to Jane! May you enjoy further smugness and more wins.
