There are a few new pieces of art up at the skate park. Trash cans are not overflowing. The garden looks neat. Visitors are skating and painting. The park sees positive, active use and there’s a real community growing here.
It’s hard to feel cynical about a space that has been developed to reflect what its existing users wanted.
