I couldn’t begin to guess how many feral cat colonies exist in Hartford, but I’ve seen at least one in each of these neighborhoods: South West, South End, North East, Sheldon/Charter Oak, Frog Hollow, and the North Meadows

The one pictured is a TNR colony — trap, neuter, and return. The caregiver brings water regularly and does not leave food out indefinitely.
