- Free yoga in Bushnell Park every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Meet on the lawn between the pond and Pump House Gallery. Bring your own mat.
- Hanging with Harold. They say: “Hanging with Harold is not a class or a workshop. It’s not a show, either. It’s a learn-by-doing drop-in jam where Sea Tea Improv and members of the improv community (that’s you, just by showing up!) perform a kind of longform improv together known as the Harold.” This starts at 8:30 p.m. in 75 Pratt Street, Suite 500. $5.
July 31
- The Hartford Mobile Market stops at Wilson-Gray YMCA, 444 Albany Avenue on Fridays from 4-6 p.m. SNAP and debit accepted.
- Summer Sizzle Under the Stars: The Wadsworth Atheneum begins the evening at 5 p.m. with a la carte dinner (not included in price) and live music, followed by an outdoors screening of Pat and Mike at 8:15 p.m. $9 general admission.
- Mrs. Doubtfire screens in Elizabeth Park when it’s dark. Bring a blanket or lawnchair. Free. (Why are the venues for free films so vague? Ask the City of Hartford’s MECA.)
MONTHLY PILE OF DISCLAIMERS: This listing is not intended to be all-inclusive. Events that are free or low-cost are given preference over those that would exclude a large number of Hartford residents.
To have items included in the August listing, send details to realhartfordATgmailDOTcom by July 25. Once published, late submissions are not added.
We strive for accuracy, but if showing up to something that has been canceled makes you nervous, contact the venue in advance. Sometimes we are given incorrect information about dates, people, times, and cost.
