I love that we can scrap a logical idea like a dedicated bus lane on Asylum Street because one business owner worries about losing their curb-side valet parking, but we can chop down a row of shade trees in the height of summer for some vague notion that a wide street needs to be widened further. Always important to facilitate speedy exit from the city via private automobile!
