Yes. Especially the way you have to either hug the perimeters of the manicured areas, and/or dodge golf balls, even if only for a short distance, to reach certain areas of the trails/walkways/secret treasures.
Yeah, I’m not super into the way public golf courses have been designed such that the entire space feels off limits to those who choose to walk without chasing balls. But I’m also grumpy about people using golf carts instead of schlepping their equipment by their own power.
