  • Learn what is meant by “defund the police” . . . and if you had tolerance for the other poorly worded catchphrase of the year, #StayHome, then you should have the patience for digging in to learn about what this slogan actually means.
  • Then, show your support for building up our community by contacting Mayor Bronin ( Luke.Bronin@hartford.gov ) and City Council. It doesn’t matter that they just voted on this. The budget is revisited every year. Advocate early and often. Make yourself a calendar alert to contact them if you need to. (If you are reading from outside Hartford, advocate within your own town.)
