Nice photo’s of my old stomping grounds. Today we took a walk down to the river and followed the trails. We spied Fiddle Head Ferns and Trout Lilies coming up. We also spied a patch of wild Iris, and a patch of what appears to be Day Lilies. It was cold and windy with waves crashing on the shore. Tim wondered if the large patch of Trout Lilies were up in Bank Grove which we admired every year. After returning home I worked on the front yard pulling out old dead grass and replanting along with white clover. I am going to throw in some dandelion seeds also. The heck with the neighbors. I have on order some purple violets for the lawn. Happy Spring and enjoy your postings.

I love your stories, Richard. It’s good to know about the fiddlehead ferns 🙂
Hope you and Tim are doing well

Hooray for seeding dandelions! Death to manicured lawns. We need more flowers and edibles. 🙂
