I encountered exactly one person while riding my bicycle along Keney Park’s trails, which is far fewer people than I would have seen in a supermarket or liquor store.
Besides getting fresh air and exercise, nature is relaxing. Hawks were swooping around. Frogs were peeping and croaking. Deer popped out of the woods for a visit.
Keney Park is nearly 700 acres, with over 15 miles of hiking and multipurpose trails.
Bring your own water, wear sunscreen, and check for ticks!
(Note: Photos taken with a zoom lens. I don’t get all up in animals’ faces.)
