A chain link fence surrounds the cemetery at Shultas Place, Maple Ave, and Benton Street. There gate is locked. A car knocked over part of the fence, leaving ruts in the field. Stones are in disarray. In 1883, the Hartford Daily Courant wrote: “The place as it stands is a disgrace to the town.”
