On this outing, the weather changed a few times while we were out. In some shots, the sky is bright blue. In others, it looks stormy. These were all taken in a two-hour timeframe on one day.
The conditions of the buildings seen also varied, from those that have enjoyed preservation to others that are currently getting the attention they have lacked for years.
Just as varied: street signs. All of the following are seen on one block of Niles Street. What might be achieved by having multiple speed limit or advisory signs, two of which appear to not be posted by someone other than the authorities. Confusion?

The building in #2 photo has always been a horrible dump. It’s amazing to me that there are more property owners on Laurel between Farmington & Niles than there are in my section of Laurel yet there are tons of garbage in that section, including the car tires in your photo. Some of the front yards there are in sad disarray. With regard to the street signs, the owner of the house in photos #7, 8 & 9 puts some of those up.
