The City of Hartford has begun taking its routine precautions as the temperatures remain below 25.
Shelters that will operate around the clock include:

Warming centers will remain open at variable times:

- Hispanic Senior Center: 45 Wadsworth St., 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., (860) 493-6566
- North End Senior Center: 80 Coventry St., 9:30a.m. To 3 p.m., (860) 757-0801
- Parkville Senior Center: 11 New Park Ave., 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., (860) 232-7867
- South End Wellness Center: 830 Maple Ave., 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., (860) 757-0840
The City of Hartford suggests that those who need shelter call 2-1-1.
The ice rink in Bushnell Park will close at 5p.m. on Tuesday because of the cold.
