City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 4p.m. to consider an ordinance that would create the Hartford Stadium Authority. This would involve the authorization to transfer property to the Hartford Stadium Authority, along with the vague “other actions to facilitate financing for the proposed baseball stadium.”
Real Hartford previously reported that CRDA would not be investing in or subsidizing the stadium.
Sources have indicated that the developer has not been able to raise the amount of money that it previously believed it could.
