In a message from the Mayor’s Office today, Segarra says that based on public feedback, there will be a change in the stadium proposal regarding financing:
Some media outlets have been reporting that the public financing component has completely disappeared.
This is false.

Great news! The mayor listed to and responded to “the people.” But I’m still very curious and I’ll admit – a bit cynical here.
What the heck does “revenues generated by the redevelopment of the entire Downtown North area” mean? What revenues and from where? How? And how much of the projected $60,000,000 pricetag will be from these mystery revenues? (Which would be, of course, basically still public monies.)
