Without incessant nagging or a major propaganda campaign, Real Hartford came in second for Best Hyperlocal News Site, with Kerri Provost coming in third for Best Local Blogger.
That latter award is funny since this is not really a blog. Whatever. We’ll take it.
Thanks to all who took the time to cast votes, and thanks to those who read and comment. Except for the trolls. No thanks to them.
If you want to see who else won in this year’s Advocate Best of Hartford Readers’ Poll, go to the CTNOW site.

How is CTnow allowed to win on CTnow.com?
Justin
Who even knows that CTnow exists? How can they win when they produce zero readable content? Why is there always a big concert happening on their home page? I am looking forward to crashing their party.
Richard
I wondered the same thing, zero readable content on Ctnow. Well of course us readers of Real Hartford know this is the place to be for outstanding journalism, fun, games and one of the best what’s happening calenders around. I never really take and haven’t for years the Hartford Advocate seriously as its just a bunch of culturally acceptable counter culture crap-o-la that’s all fluff and no substance.
One thousand cheers and claps for Kerri and Real Hartford. Our place to be.
