The State Elections Enforcement Commission finally ruled on a complaint regarding the 2012 election in which several Hartford residents claimed that votes had failed to be recorded and registered, specifically, votes for third party presidential candidates Jill Stein and Stephen Durham.
During the investigation, the citywide recount resulted in an amendment of returns in districts 5 (United Methodist Church on Farmington Avenue) and 11 (United Way on Laurel Street). The SEEC finds the failure to record write-in votes unintentional, yet says that the Hartford Registrars of Voters is responsible, nonetheless, for such information.
The HROV has been told by the SEEC that it will “take extra care when overseeing the recording and transmitting of write-in votes in future elections.”

I think they told us the same thing last time when they failed to count our write in votes. Oh, maybe HROV doesn’t know how to count a real possibility since this seems to happen often.
Something is very wrong if folks had to wait this long to have their votes counted. Send in election moderators from Crimea for the next elections it is obvious that HROV needs all the help they can get. I thought they were suppose to be removed from office by now.
