Some may have spent the day in isolation with their milk and bread, but we took a walk in our neighborhood to see what was going on.
(Above) An ATV is momentarily stuck near the Park Street Branch of the Hartford Public Library.
Pope Park was not being used when we walked through, but we saw evidence that people had been here earlier.
The church at Park Street and Putnam Street, like most else, had not been shoveled.
(Below) Park Terrace, at an odd time when no vehicles were seen. Traffic on this road was only slightly less than on an average day.
(Below) That is not a shoveled path. Snowmobiles had been in Pope Park earlier, creating the only depressed areas for walking.
On Park Street, some businesses were open. The line inside Sol de Borinquen was exactly like it is every other day — to the door. They had plenty of bread.
