This tradition — trees and wreaths decorated by community members and organizations — is also one of the Wadsworth Atheneum’s biggest fundraisers.

In past seasons the galleries felt overcrowded, but this year, the trees are displayed in more areas of the museum.

The trees and wreaths will be on display through December 15, 2013. Storytelling, music, and a visit from Santa Claus are scheduled during the Festival of Trees & Traditions. You can see the exact schedule, hours, and prices on the Wadsworth Atheneum’s website.
