any reason why mr. ray stepped down….??

I don’t find the “scandal” here very interesting or worth anyone’s time. There’s ongoing issues (not dating back to 1998, but circa now) in the schools that are far more pressing.

ok…information from background.. too bad.. this individual would have done well at that position.. current mayor can’t go out on a limb on this issue (re: individuals who have turned their lives around working in key positions) at this time.. hopefully mr. ray merely returns to his prior job and continues his good work..

this individual did not “turn his life” around as evidenced by the ajudgement of scamming the unemployment fund some months ago.His criminal backround is very extensive and once again the Mayor and his chief od staff have acted in an incompetant manner in not vetting the applicant before sending out the press release hiring him.

There isn’t even a deputy Chief position. Apparently the mayor’s office is exempt from the City’s normal hiring procedures, if they even have any at this point.
