We’re finding lions everywhere! Do you know where this one lives?
Oh, and this week, the winner can get more than smugness. The Connecticut Historical Society has donated some tickets for this Thursday’s (October 17) program. Dr. Philip Zimmerman will be speaking on the topic: “From Marketplace to Living Room: Tips for Beginners and Experienced Collectors on Building a Collection to Live with and Love (and Actually Sit On).”

No, but I like your logic.
They do have some tavern signs inside and at least one has a lion. The one pictured is a sculpture.

Last time I was at the Historical Society it was there. They must have moved it when you took the picture.

wild guess for a wild animal…Clemens Place?
Kerri Provost
Nope. This lion is not in the West End. Apparently other neighborhoods are also allowed to have them.

City Hall?

City hall?
Kerri Provost
Not City Hall. Think some spot more touristy.

Narnia!
Kerri Provost
Close!
I’d actually expect you to know this one before anyone else who has responded so far.

Capital Grille?
Kerri Provost
Yes! Congrats!
This lion is a new resident, as of a few weeks ago. For those who don’t know, Capital Grille is a newly opened restaurant in the Front Street development.
