The Connecticut River saw some action this weekend as some 3,000 people participated in the annual Dragon Boat Races.
Boaters ranged from serious club teams, to people who might have practiced once before.
The races began early Saturday morning and wrapped up late Sunday afternoon. The annual Asian Festival was also this weekend at the Riverfront.
