Science center
Kerri Provost
Correct
You win, for this week.
Richard
What is that thing somebody’s sandwich?
Brendan
How come when others win you’re all happy and when I win it’s begrudgingly announced?
Kerri Provost
Are you in my kitchen monitoring my facial expressions? Because, if so, GTFO!
Brendan
I can sense emotion in internet comments. It’s a rare skill.
That’s why when I read moronic comments on courant.com, youtube, etc. I don’t get angry, because the emotion coming from people on the other side of the nasty comment is “my life is shit and I’m a worthless idiot.”
Richard
Please Kerri or Brenden pray do tell what is that thing in the photo?
Kerri Provost
Oh, you weren’t joking?
You know how the science center was surrounded by giant holes for a few years? Those have been filled in with dirt and are in the process of being planted. Some have trees. Some have rocks.
Brendan
Also, that area has the greatest deployment of anti-grinding (for skateboards) equipment of any place I’ve ever seen. They must have installed those little grind stoppers on like several miles of curbs and benches.
Richard
Oh now I see it as a rock not someone’s sandwich. Maybe I am hungry as I have been fasting for 3 days. HA!! Better get some food quick or I will try to eat Laurel St. Oh and those grind stoppers didn’t know what they were. Thanks folks.
Kerri Provost
There is now a plaque on the big rock.
I have lots of tomatoes. Say the word and they’re yours.
Richard
Oh how nice of you. Tim’s brother just brought us a basket of tomatoes from his garden. Here is what we are going to do. After we have the pleasure of eating some with grilled cheese or sliced on the plate we will put a big pot on the stove and make stewed tomatoes. Once the work (not really hard) is done we freeze batches for a hint of summer in the fall and winter. If you have never tried it do so as its a good way to use some of the extra tomatoes you have. The hardest part after the hot water bath is peeling them. It is well worth the work. With some garlic, chopped celery, chopped green pepper and a bit of chive or onion you will say yum, yum.
One can also freeze tomatoes for use later but I have never tried that.
