I am not a fan nor consumer of wigs of any color, but it’s sad that there is virtually no retail in downtown. I have a couple of little things on my to buy list, and instead of being able to walk to get them at lunchtime or after work, I’ll have to trek out to a strip mall, park, etc, etc.
Curses on the Eisenhower Interstate System it really started the destruction of community and neighborhoods.
It’s true that the Interstates wreaked havoc on Hartford in the 50’s and 60’s.
Landlords who want $40 or more per square foot (including a “community oriented” nonprofit landlord on Asylum that was looking for upwards of $30/sf and remained unleased for years) are destructive right now.
