The Greater Hartford Arts Council commissions a designer/artist each year to create a work that represents what they call the “Greater Hartford community.” This year, the designer has been selected — Hartford Prints! — and three pieces have been created that can be voted on.
The prints are called “Stegosaurus,” “Mark Twain,” and “Art in Hartford Map.” Voting ends on January 20, 2013. The winning piece will be announced three days later.
To vote, check out the designs on the Greater Hartford Arts Council site.

$500 for this boring stuff. I am sure in all of Hartford there is far more inventive artists working that should have or could have been asked and would have come up with somehthing far better than this flat crap. Makes me want to yawn and go to the next city. Goosey bell just said well I suppose 1/2 demockracy is better than nuthing.
Where or where is punkpink when we need such a voice?
