The pond next to 30 Laurel St. (the United Way building), also near Park Place towers. BOOM.

BOOM is right!
Congrats!
Technically it’s a private park, but there’s no checkpoint to pass through to enter.

HA HA HA I didn’t evn know that was the pond where I live. Can I get a he’s not observant today award for not recognizing where I sit and walk all the time? It is a lovely park to sit in and folks from the Senior Building also use it. I don’t think that anyone chases anyone away. Kids come from upper Laurel and use the courts all the time. We love living in the Towers. One of the most diversified buildings in Hartford and not all that expensive for what one gets. Buses close by and stores too. And to think we are on the hallowed ground of the old Warehouse where everyone came to dance and gay the night away.
