As one of the lawyers you know who went to the law school, I would like to defend myself by stating that this little seating area was never there when I was going to school. It may be a new improvement that was added when the library scaffolding finally came down.
No idea, but again I’ll hazard a complete guess. Is it the path from Pope Park up towards Capitol/Russ? I know they started clearing it out and making improvements on that area but I’m not sure how much was done as I haven’t walked there in a while.

This is a public area.

Is this in the little meadow of Elizabeth Park on the other side of the road west of the rose garden?
Kerri Provost
Nope, not in Elizabeth Park, but you are within, I think a quarter mile from it.
Jane
somewhere on the law school property?
Kerri Provost
Yes!
And I’m disappointed that none of the lawyers who I *know* when to the UConn Law School knew this.
It’s next to the parking lot that exits on Elizabeth Street. There are stairs leading up to it.
Kerri Provost
That should say “went” not “when.”

“As one of the lawyers you know who went to the law school, I would like to defend myself…”
Of COURSE you would.

A better defense would have been: “I was in class or the library the whole time, studying my brains out.” 🙂
EmGee
I don’t need that defense, I just got through law school on my good looks and natural talent.
(NOT.)
Karen
An even better defense: I was only there after dark. 🙂
Kerri Provost
The chairs vanish into thin air at night.

It’s not, but there is a seating area down there. I’ve only been once and in a snowstorm.
