If you’re curious about what is going on in Hartford politics, here is some insight. I have heard from a number of reliable sources that they “forgot” to count the write-in votes.
Apparently, they began counting the write-in votes this morning.
Keep these antics in mind the next time we get to vote for the Registrars of Voters.
Jennifer
Oh my! When *do* we get to vote for the Registrar of Voters?
EmGee
I called about this on Friday in the early afternoon and was told that the person taking my call couldn’t answer my question because the registrars were in a meeting and “still not letting us bother them.” No call back yet. I’m not holding my breath.

If attending to queries from their constituents is a bother, then perhaps they need a new line of work.
Richard
They are going to count the votes on Tuesday at 9AM in City Hall. I was told by the SOTS office that “Hartford simply forgot to count the write-in votes.” Education needed for all from the top to the poll workers, stop making excuses and get some manners. The 3 in the registars office should be chased out of there with a corn broom.

This all seems like it could easily be made into a theatrical production: “Hartford Doesn’t Count.”
Richard
Well well well. They didn’t find our votes. According to the SOTS office there were NO write-in votes for Todd Vachon so reported by the HROV office in the city of Hartford.
I guess I really didn’t go to vote last week. I was dreaming perhpas. I guess all the other folks who voted for Todd here in this city were dreaming too.
But be forwarned little fishes, you haven’t heard the last of us yet.
