The City of Hartford Office of Cultural Affairs and the Hartford Business Improvement District is promoting a Day of Busking, during which musicians and performers entertain the public downtown. According to a press release from the City of Hartford: “Chapter 31, Division II of its Municipal Code actually seeks to promote street performance in downtown Hartford. This progressive ordinance has been on the books in its current form since 1986.”
