There are always free events going on at Elizabeth Park, but to keep your head from exploding from information overload, I’m only going to mention a few.
This Saturday, June 5th, there is a History Tour. It begins at the Info Center at 10 a.m. If you want something more hands-on, there is the opportunity to volunteer there from 9-12 in the Rose Garden, but you’ll have to bring your own gloves and garden tools.
Looking ahead, there is the Summer Concert Series every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m., which will feature music from Fiesta del Norte, The Mighty Soul Kings, Goza, and River City Slim & the Zydeco Hogs. The series begins June 23rd and is located on the lawn near the Rose Garden.
