The Warehouse–a new venue in Parkville at 45 Bartholomew Avenue– will be hosting the Snow Ball on December 13th and 14th. There will be art and craft vendors from 2-8 pm, and live music until the bar closes. Minors are admitted before 8pm with an adult 21+; after 8pm, it’s 21+ only. Oh, and it’s also a food drive for Foodshare. And there will be chair massages available. And demonstrations of Tibetan singing bowls and gongs.
There will be ceramics, pottery, sculpture, paintings, mixed media, Japanese woodblock prints, pressed flowers, jewelery, photography, multimedia, graphics, blown glass, scarves, bags, drums, Urban Clothing, and Love Vintage Clothing. Artists include: Stephanie Lush, Jill R. Friedman, Emily Morse, Laura Ganci, Monika Majewski, Amy Mulligan, Jess Regele, Janice Star Mader, Ed Kargas, Aaron Gregory, Jennifer Firmin-Udu, Julie, Shaun Sotomayor, Nina Gentile, Tom Graduate, Cathleen McLain, Rodney Bull, Steve Foster, Savannah Richards, Blake Hamilton, Deanna Grady, Sarah Hatfield, Jess Cote, Aura Perrica, Josh Booth, Dharmendra Patel, Craig, Sharonna Misha, and Kathleen Grant.
On Saturday, the musicians and djs scheduled are: Glenn Roth, JoeECrak, Dajray, Breakadawn, Snafu, Sarajean, Chris Pytlak, Laura Ganci, Emily Morse, Bipolar Jukebox, Soul Almighty, Blake Hamilton, and Against the Grain. On Sunday, performers and djs will include Rhythmic Circus, Ray Morant, The Lynn Tracey Project, Keith Carini, Erica, Hannah’s Field, and Serious Business. Admission is $7, or $5 with a food donation. A two-day pass costs $10. Children under 12 get in for free.
Previously, the building housed The Spaghetti Warehouse and Trout Brook Brewery. Other fun Parkville facts: residents tried to secede from the city in 1878 because of tax issues and a Royal Typewriter factory was located here. It is also home to many restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues including Real Art Ways, Barca, O’Porto, Sully’s/Lena’s, Wood-n-Tap, Tastease, and the Bow Tie Cinemas Palace 17.
