CTTRANSIT TO HOST PUBLIC MEETING
Capitol Region Council of Governments, Connecticut Department of Transportation, Greater Hartford Transit
District and The Hartford Public Library Partner CTTRANSIT, in partnership with the Capitol Region Council of Governments, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the Greater Hartford Transit District and The Hartford Public Library will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Central Branch of the Hartford Public Library in downtown
Hartford. The address for the library is 500 Main Street.

The purpose of the public meeting is to give CTTRANSIT bus users an opportunity to make suggestions for changes
and share ideas for improvements. CTTRANSIT customers from all areas are encouraged to attend. State, regional and local officials will be there to listen to suggestions and concerns. There will be someone at the meeting to translate comments or questions received in Spanish.

The Central Branch of Hartford Public Library is located along many bus routes. There is an entrance to the library
on Main Street. The library is accessible for persons with disabilities. Persons requiring auxiliary aids (such as sign
language services) should call 860-522-8101, ext. 221 or email ggregg@cttransit.com before September 24. There
will be someone at the meeting to translate comments or questions received in Spanish.
CTTRANSIT is the state-owned bus transit system serving the greater Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Waterbury, New
Britain, Meriden, Bristol and Wallingford areas.

Is this where we go to complain about the complicated numbering of routes that have totally dismayed some riders? I’m on the W-2, which is easy to remember for obvious reasons, but most don’t lend themselves to such obvious mnemonic devices (as in what’s the bus I take 2 WORK?).
