If you have procrastinated on getting tickets, then you may be in luck because the annual KNOX Community Garden Tour & Twilight Dinner has been moved from August 8th to August 15th, as rain has been predicted for this Thursday.
In past years, the dinner has been created by gardeners. This year KNOX has enlisted chefs from some of the top restaurants in Hartford to prepare the meal from locally grown food.
Because of this new addition, the ticket prices have increased; however, those who are KNOX members or who participate in the community garden program can get a deeply discounted ticket. There are a limited number of those tickets available — first come, first served. Tickets can be ordered online or by calling 860.951.7694. For the discounted ticket price, call KNOX.
The rescheduled garden tour will begin at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 155 Wyllys Street, from 5:15-9:00pm, on August 15, 2013.
